Filming

Filming: Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November

by Emma Keen | 25th Oct 2018

Hi all

Just letting you know that we have a film crew coming in on Thursday 15 and Friday 16 November.

Thursday 15 November

Winkhurst Kitchen and Winkhurst hall (potential use for prep):

Small kitchen to side of Winkhurst (use for prep and storage of items overnight)

07.30 – arrive on site and set up
08:00 – filming
16:00 – finish
17:00 – off site

Friday 16 November

Bayleaf Farmhouse:

07.30 – arrive on site and set up
08:00 – filming
16:00 – finish
17:00 – off site

We’ll give visitors as much access to the houses as we can but there will be a portion of time on both days where the respective house will not be open to visitors.

For info

They are filming for a C4 programme about ‘extraordinary dinners’. They will be filming the preparation and cooking of a cockentrice in Winkhurst and then filming a meal in Bayleaf.

The Museum will get some good mentions on camera and we will be doing a shout out to our members and on social media for a family to be on camera as the dinner guests.

Mark Meltonville (one of our freelance demonstrators) will also be working with the programme as one of their food experts.

Any questions or concerns just give me a shout

Thanks
